Our journey began in September 1992, when Reverend Matthew Ashimolowo and 300 members rented a hall at Holloway Boys School, North London. These humble beginnings reflect the persistence, faith, prayer and patience of a church that is destined for great things.
Within our first 15 years our congregation grew from 300 members to thousands in attendance every Sunday.
Today, services are held at our main church in Kent and a network of Chapels and Branches in London, across the UK and internationally.
Kingsway International Christian Centre is dedicated to improving the lives of people within the local and interantional communities.
The free outreach services we currently provide include the Noah’s Ark Food Bank, Breaking Educational Barriers: Educational counselling, the Christmas Hamper challenge, Legal Counselling, Career Counselling, Hopeline, Hospital Visitation, Prison Ministry and the Widows outreach.
There are also weekly King’s Kids (for children aged 3-12), TNT (for 13-18 year olds) meetings and monthly Royals gatherings (for young adults aged 18-30 years old).
